Anaida is an Indian pop star who is a talented singer, dancer as well as choreographer. She has played various roles in the Indian entertainment industry. She first gained popularity after being crowned the India Dance Champion. After this she became a radio jockey and was amongst the first RJ’s of India. She continued to perform in shows across India and her dancing and singing skills soon got her the tag of Princess of Pop in the entertainment circuit all across the nation.
She came out with India’s first ever single Hotline at the age of 16 and thus established her name as Anaida, the pop star. The album went on to become the highest selling debut album of the time. After this came Nazuk Nazuk whose track Oova Oova went on to be a rage amongst the youth of the country. It also featured India’s first ever animated music video.
Soon she was doing international projects like covers of the classical English songs, Fever and These Boots are Meant For Walking. She is also the first Indian female to be featured on the famous Buddha Bar Compilation. One of her famous songs into Bollywood is Chori Chori Chupke Chupke. She is perhaps one of the most talented and accomplished singers/dancers to have graced the Indian entertainment industry.
