Anvesanah

This is not your regular everyday metal/rock act. This is nothing like anything you have heard before. This is something with a meaning. This is creativity with a purpose of being. This is energy. This is freedom. This is expression. This is Anvesanah.
Anvesanah was conceptualized as a joint vision shared both by Yeashu Yuvraj and Chandan Raina. The band being Yeashu’s brainchild was brought together and started by him in March 2009. The vision being to try and create a market for a genre of music known for its power, energy and impetus – rock, while making this a vessel of expression and meaning and to pass on this sense of freedom to anyone willing to listen.
The band understood during its formative stages that this could only be achieved in India by singing in the mother tongue of the country –Hindi.
The songs are written with a meaning, a purpose, a sense of being and with a spirit enthused with the power, vigor and the energy of rock. The musical influences of the band are varied as they are extensive and diverse. Influenced by music, from a large body of artists regardless of genre, to films, politics, patriotism, social taboos and stigma – the band’s music is centered on these factors and so are the derivations of music, lyrics, tone and character of the songs.
Anvesanah is
Yeashu Yuvraj –Vocals,

Anvesanah is a derivative of the word “Anvesh” which means ‘to search’ in Sanskrit. True to the meaning of the word, the band decided to start in search of themselves and their music and has managed to develop its identity
