A.R. Rahman (Allah Rakha Rahman 1966) is a globally recognized Indian Tamil chanteur, composer and record producer. He has seized major awards including Academy Awards for his contributions to the blockbuster movie Slum Dog Millionaire 2008, BAFTA award, 2 Grammys and a Golden Globe award. He has been dubbed “The Mozart of Madras” by Time Magazine. Rahman has composed over 100 movie scores/tracks and became widely known nationally after his breakthrough tracks for the movie Roja. Rahman is the first South Asian to sign with Sony. PHIR SE UDD CHALA” is rearranged with up tempo and strong backing vocals .Many find this version even better than the original.  With A R Rahman on the piano and some fabulous guitars by Keba Jeremiah, the re-arranged version of the song is superb from start to finish the first second.
