Anurag Dixit is one of the most promising talents on Indian pop music scene. A singer-songwriter-composer, all rolled into one, Anurag Dixit has become increasingly popular, especially with the young generation. It was 24 hours music at Anurag’s home, for as long as he can remember! His grandfather taught him mathematical tables set on musical patterns and his father played music on every possible format-vinyl records, radio, tapes and then of course CDs! From Bollywood to classical to Jagjit & Bhupinder, Anurag was exposed to all genres of music! “Yes I wanted to become a singer but there was still something missing”, says Anurag, “Until my father bought me some music from artists like Bruce Springsteen, George Michael & U2! …and the missing link was there! It was surprising to see how these artists wrote and composed their own music and this was exactly what I wanted to do!!
