Kishan is an up-coming artist based in London. He has trained in Indian Classical Music from a young age, and has trained under well renowned artists Pandit Rajan-Sajan Mishra.
He sings in Hindi, Gujarati and English, and his versatility enables him to sing in many different styles from Bollywood and Bhangra to Ghazals and Bhajans.
Kishan has been regularly performing across the UK in various concerts and has done playback for several drama productions which have toured nationally.
His first album, Geetanjali, is a collection of bhajans set to contemporary music. When asked about his musical ambition, he says, 'My aim is to do something different, something unique. My album Geetanjali is a fusion of contemporary beats and instruments with traditional lyrics and soulful melodies. What Abhijit Pohankar did to classical music in Piya Bawari, I want to do with bhajans.'
