Manoj Pandya has Been an avid disciple of the art of Guitar Playing, music composing and music arrangement for the past two decades.Guitar playing being his forte, he is also a proficient music composer, programmer and a band Manager. He has been recently nominated in 2 categories at the Global Indian Music Awards( GIMA 2012) for the Best Rock Album of the Year category for his compositions -- 'Antara', 'Twilight' and 'Registan'. And Best Music debut for the year 2012 for his composition - Antara.
In the past he has been a recipient of dual scholarships from the Prestigious Berklee college of music-Boston, both online-Gary Burton scholarship for the Master certificate in Guitar playing and the Fender Scholarship at the Berklee Guitar Summer sessions 2010.
Manoj is a firm believer in versatility. He is against genre reservations in music. He keenly admires, studies and incorporates multiple genres in his music repertoire including the likes of Classic Rock, Indian Classical, Fusion, World music, Blues, Latin, Jazz, Progressive and many more styles.
Manoj regularly performs and manages his bands “LAMBADA” & “SWITCH”. LAMBADA won the title of ‘Baap of all bands’ at the Idea Rocks India competition in 2009 telecast on Colors television channel. Manoj being adjudged the best musician for the same.
Manoj also performed with the famous Bollywood singer SHAAN at various concerts in 2011 including the Kishore Kumar Tribute held the Esplanade-Singapore, Palace grounds-Bangalore and the Shanmukhananda hall Mumbai.
