A 1st-generation musician, Milin started his musical journey in his early school days when he briefly learnt the Jal Tarang and some other Indian instruments. Then in high school he turned to Rock & Pop - shifting to the Guitar which ultimately became one of his main instruments of composition & accompaniment.

He loves both Western & Indian Music, having studied professional guitar at GIT, Musicians’ Institute, Hollywood, CA, U.S.A.; and Hindustani Classical Vocal (a form of highly evolved North Indian Classical Music) in Mumbai, India. Following this, he also learnt to play the Piano. He primarily works on the synthesizer for his assignments, and on the guitar for his songs.

Milin has been composing music for over a decade. His diverse repertoire includes Feature Films, Short Films, Commerials, Documentaries, Corporate Films / Audio Visuals, Product Launches, TV Serials, and Musicals/Plays.He has composed music for the feature films 'Limited Manuski' (a Marathi comedy), ‘The Impossible Murder’ (a Hindi murder mystery), 'Purush' & "Koi Baat Nahin".

Other credits include the short films 'Ehsaas' & 'Kash-m-Kash' for Rohit Kaushik/Maaj Entertainment', 'Chaubees Ghante' for Madhura Samarth; television serials 'Manzil' & 'Gulmohar (West)' for the late Shridhar Kshirsagar; ‘Doscoyevsky’ – a musical for the Doon School Golden Jubilee, ‘What if …’ a play written & directed by Shivani Tibrewala, ‘Staying Alive’ a dance drama written & directed by Shivani Tibrewala / produced by No License Yet & Radiowani - the first shows performed by Mallika Sarabhai's dance troupe, and coming soon with another exciting dance company.Despite the diverse variety of his musical assignments, songs remain his forte & passion.
