Raghav Sachar is a talented, young music composer who can play more than thirty musical instruments. Born with a love for music, Raghav started playing his first instrument, the harmonica at the age of four. Seeing his skills, his parents started gifting him musical instruments on his birthdays. Before turning professional, Raghav won the Best Drummer Award in Delhi in 1994 and the Best Keyboard player at BITS Pilani’s annual fest. He also formed a band, Canoza before heading to Australia for an education in music.
During this time, he toured most of South East Asia and performed at various concerts. He also worked alongside Viva and Shubha Mudgal on their albums. He received the Golden Key award and Earnest Award in academics from Monash. His debut album, Raghav was very much appreciated followed by the success of his other albums, 24 Carat and Play It Loud. Raghav has also done soundtracks for Bollywood films like Sunday, Kabul Express and Haal-e-Dil.
